Baricitinib, a Janus kinase inhibitor (JAKi), prevents hair loss and promotes hair regrowth by inhibiting the inflammatory Janus kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway involved in cytotoxic T cell responses targeting hair follicles.
