On September 25 and 26, 2021, the Alzheimer's Association hosted the first meeting focused on people with early-onset Alzheimer's disease (EOAD)-sometimes referred to as younger onset Alzheimer's disease (AD). Though a diagnosis of AD can be devastating at any age, those with a younger onset-defined as symptoms developing prior to 65 years of age-face unique challenges. EOAD occurs when people are in the prime of their lives, often with multiple responsibilities including careers, community activities, and raising children and caring for older family members.

A relatively broad consolidated consensus has emerged among experts regarding the competencies that should be fostered through an education for sustainable development at the higher education level. However, there is little empirical support to aid in answering the question of which competencies should be promoted from the perspective of students and graduates. This was the main purpose for analyzing the corresponding results of the evaluation of the study programs in sustainable development at the University of Bern.

There is considerable public and policy debate in Australia about measures to reduce violence associated with alcohol and young people in the night-time economy. Though overrepresented in violence, the role of men and masculinities is rarely explicitly addressed in policy responses to such violence, which rest on a narrow range of mainly quantitative research and recommendations favouring blanket alcohol restrictions. Drawing on John Law and colleagues' account of the 'double social life of methods' (2011), we analyse interviews conducted with Australian quantitative researchers about the role of gender in such violence.

Purpose: In the last decades, total elbow arthroplasty, elbow osteosynthesis and revision surgery have been more popularized. The study aimed to assess the course of the anconeus branch of the radial nerve in relation to two variations of the lateral para-olecranon approach, considering iatrogenic nerve injuries.
Methods: The study consisted of 120 upper extremities from 60 Thiel-embalmed human specimens.

Background: The subscapularis muscle, which is part of the rotator cuff, is located anterior to the shoulder. In anterior approaches to the shoulder, its supplying nerves are at risk of iatrogenic injury, which may cause postoperative complications. It is unclear whether there is any nerve-free zone in which a subscapularis split can be performed without risking nerve damage.
