Rapamycin, a macrocyclic antibiotic derived from the actinomycetes Streptomyces hygroscopicus, is a widely used immunosuppressant and anticancer drug. Even though rapamycin is regarded as a multipotent drug acting against a broad array of anomalies and diseases, the mechanism of action of rapamycin and associated pathways have not been studied and reported clearly. Also reports on the binding of rapamycin to cancer cell receptors are limited to the serine/threonine protein kinase mTORC1.

Azithromycin (AM) is one of the prescribed drugs in pandemic medication treatment which has paid great attention. Introduction: (), a common pathogen of community-acquired pneumonia in school-age children and adolescents, can cause epidemics worldwide. In late 2023, the incidence of infection among children reached a high level.

Methods: We investigated the antimicrobial susceptibility of 62 isolates obtained from children with pneumonia in Beijing between 2021 and 2023, and analyzed the correlation of antimicrobial susceptibility with molecular characteristics of isolates and clinical manifestations of patients.
