Background: Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) procedures have become much more common in the United States in recent years, with >40,000 UKAs performed annually. However, it is estimated that 10% to 40% of UKAs fail and thus require conversion to total knee arthroplasty (TKA). In the field of total joint arthroplasty, robotic-assisted surgeries have demonstrated advantages such as better accuracy and precision of implant positioning and improved restoration of a neutral mechanical axis.

Intramuscular lipomas (IMLs) are rare benign tumors that arise when lipomas infiltrate muscle tissue. These tumors are most commonly found in the large muscles of the limbs and trunk, particularly in the thigh, shoulder, and upper arm. IMLs often present as painless masses but can cause pain, muscle dysfunction, and neurological deficits as they grow and invade surrounding structures.

Blood collection is an important facet of anti-doping testing, forming the basis of the hematological module of the athlete biological passport (ABP). Presently, whole blood is collected via venepucture under standardized conditions, in accordance with the World Anti-doping Agency's International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI). Advances in capillary whole blood collection technology now afford the ability to collect microvolumetric capillary whole blood from the upper arm (or other suitable vascular location such as the abdomen) that is "needle-free" and virtually painless.

We present a case of a 66-year-old male with a four-year history of painless scrotal swelling. The preoperative diagnosis was challenging, with an initial suspicion of soft tissue sarcoma.
