Molecule-induced ripening control in perovskite quantum dots for efficient and stable light-emitting diodes.

Perovskite quantum dots (QDs) show an excellent application perspective in semiconductor optoelectronic devices. However, problems of ligand loss during the growth, purification, film formation, and storage process always induce the aggregation and ripening of QDs, adversely affecting QDs' and QD-based devices' performance. Here, we use a bidentate molecule to control ripening toward a notable performance boost in CsPbI QDs.

Background: With increased emphasis on healthcare transparency, parents are increasingly asking to be present for procedures performed on their children, especially in high-acuity contexts like care of children with congenital heart disease (CHD), where procedures may inform critical care decisions. In addition, observations of complex care may better communicate clinical knowledge and benefit grieving after adverse events. We examined clinicians' views on current family presence (FP) efforts and on the expansion of FP to include the observation of operative procedures.

To determine the optimal length of video-based lectures for undergraduate medical students in a flipped classroom environment and evaluate the effect of their length on student engagement outcomes. Using an observational cohort study, 152 students (male = 38 and female = 114) viewed 173 videos focused on teaching Neurosurgery over three consecutive academic years. Each course consisted of 11 topics divided into a variable number of clips.

Introduction: Severity is a key indicator utilized in plant disease monitoring and pathogen-plant interaction phenotyping.

Methods: A plant disease severity assessment method based on lesion expansion was proposed in this study to more accurately and quickly assess the severity of plant diseases for which the lesion area ratio of an investigated plant unit at each severity class in the corresponding severity grading standard is not the actual ratio of the lesion area to the area of the whole investigated plant unit. By taking wheat stripe rust caused by f.
