Background: Provision of palliative care in acute care settings is significantly lacking despite evidence that early integration leads to better patient/family-related outcomes and improved healthcare cost and efficiency.
Objective: This study investigated influencing factors that affect the nature and frequency of palliative care practices of acute care nurses.
Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional design was used to examine the effects of personal and environmental factors on nurses' palliative care practices in the acute care setting.

Background: This study aimed to investigate and analyze the current status of oral disease treatment among the older adult in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, while also assessing the continuing medical education (CME) needs of dental institution personnel regarding oral diseases in this population.
Methods: Convenience sampling was used to investigate the oral disease treatment among older adults and to assess CME needs of dental institution personnel regarding oral diseases in this population across various oral medical and health institutions in Guangxi.

It has an impact on social, economic, and health issues, particularly for children under five who account for the majority of poisonings worldwide. Poisoning can result in mild cases, serious complications, or even death; oral ingestion is the most common way that poisoning occurs in children.

Introduction: Radiation may unintentionally injure myocardial tissue, potentially leading to radiation-induced cardiac disease (RICD), with the net benefit of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) radiotherapy (RT) due to the proximity of the lung and heart. RTOG-0617 showed a greater reduction in overall survival (OS) comparing higher doses to standard radiation doses in NSCLC RT. VHeart has been reported as an OS predictor in the first- and fifth-year follow-ups.
