Proximal femoral fractures in children are challenging in clinical treatment due to their unique anatomical and biomechanical characteristics. The distribution and characteristics of fracture lines directly affect the selection of treatment options and prognosis. Pediatric proximal femur fractures exhibit distinctive features, with the distribution and characteristics of the fracture line playing a crucial role in deciding optimal treatment.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) based auto-segmentation has demonstrated numerous benefits to clinical radiotherapy workflows. However, the rapidly changing regulatory, research, and market environment presents challenges around selecting and evaluating the most suitable solution. To support the clinical adoption of AI auto-segmentation systems, Selection Criteria recommendations were developed to enable a holistic evaluation of vendors, considering not only raw performance but associated risks uniquely related to the clinical deployment of AI.

We present a rare case of optic neuropathy due to anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive (ALK+) anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) with optic nerve infiltration in a 12-year-old girl who presented with acute unilateral vision loss, diplopia, and headache after two prior hospitalizations at an outside facility for disk edema. She had a presumptive diagnosis of neurosarcoidosis and empiric treatment had been initiated with high-dose corticosteroids. Ongoing worsening of vision prompted presentation at our facility.

Finite element human body models (HBMs) are the primary method for predicting human biological responses in vehicle collisions, especially personalized HBMs that allow accounting for diverse populations. Yet, creating personalized HBMs from a single image is a challenging task. This study addresses this challenge by providing a framework for HBM personalization, starting from a single image used to estimate the subject's skin point cloud, the skeletal point cloud, and the relative positions of the skeletons.

Objectives: This study aimed to develop a prediction model for feeding tube dependence in a large homogenous cohort of HPV-associated oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (HPV + OPSCC) patients receiving chemoradiotherapy (CRT). We further aimed to externally validate three previously published feeding tube prediction models on this cohort.
Materials And Methods: p16-confirmed HPV + OPSCC patients treated with definitive CRT at a tertiary cancer centre between April 2017 and February 2022 were identified.
