Preeclampsia (PE) is one of the most common diseases worldwide, complicating ~5% of all pregnancies.Although no major progress has been achieved in the treatment of PE, our ability to identify women at highrisk has increased considerably during the past decade.The early identification of patients with an increased risk for preeclampsia is therefore one of the most important goals in obstetrics.

Application-orientated research on using the P300 measure as a cognitive probe for a wide range of neurological and psychiatric situations has been expanding rapidly in the last decade.The aim of this paper is to preview issues of application-oriented P300 research in occupational and environment medicine.
