Department of Facial Plastic & Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Fakih Hospital, Khaizaran, 00000, Lebanon.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the safety of a new hybrid filler, combining calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and cohesive polydensified matrix-based hyaluronic acid (CPM-HA), which is gaining popularity in aesthetic medicine for its benefits in tissue elevation and reduced volume loss after injection.
  • A total of 2112 patients were treated with these premixed fillers between March 2018 and December 2023, and only 5 minor adverse events (0.24%) were reported, indicating a strong safety profile.
  • The findings align with previous research, reinforcing the idea that this hybrid filler blend is safe for use in aesthetic rejuvenation treatments.
