An attempt has been made to classify mechanical tubal obliteration (proximal, distal, external obliteration). The material consisted of 798 laparoscopic procedures done in order to find the cause of female infertility. Tubal obliteration in females with secondary infertility are often associated with foci of endometriosis genitalis.

Introduction: Infertility is a global health issue and a socially destabilizing condition for couples with several stigmas including medical, social, psychological burdens and a marital disharmony. Background And Purpose: The prevalence of tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia is still high, whereas the prevalence of extra pulmonary tuberculosis such as female genital tuberculosis (FGTB) affecting infertility is unknown. FGTB caused irreversible severe damaged of tubes and endometrium, resulting in tubal occlusion and partial or total obliteration of the uterine cavity. Diagnosis of FGTB is difficult.
