Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin with a suppurative-cicatricial outcome affecting the infundibular component of the pilo-sebaceous unit. The lesions are typically localized in the intertriginous and apocrine gland-rich areas. Hidradenitis suppurativa mainly affects patients at a young age and is very often refractory to conventional medical treatment.

Dissecting cellulitis (DC) of the scalp is a chronic inflammatory condition marked by neutrophilic cicatricial alopecia, often linked to staphylococcal antigens. This case report details a 34-year-old male with scarring acne who developed DC following follicular unit extraction (FUE) approximately four months prior. Trichoscopic examination revealed brown pigmented dots, erythema, and melicerous crusts.

Graham-Little-Piccardi-Lassueur syndrome (GLPLS) is a type of lichen planopilaris. It mainly affects females aged 40-60 years. It is characterized by the triad of patchy cicatricial alopecia of the scalp, noncicatricial alopecia of the axilla and groin and a follicular spinous papule on the body, scalp, or both.
