Aims: This study assessed the five-year effects of a continuous care intervention (CCI) delivered via telemedicine, counseling people with type 2 diabetes (T2D) on a very low carbohydrate diet with nutritional ketosis.
Methods: Participants with T2D were enrolled in a 2-year, open-label, non-randomized study comparing CCI and usual care (UC). After 2 years, 194 of the 262 CCI participants were approached for a three-year extension.

Introduction: Glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1) elicit substantial reductions in glycemia and body weight in people with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and obesity, but existing data suggest the therapy must be continued indefinitely to maintain clinical improvements. Given the high cost and poor real-world persistence of GLP-1, an effective therapy that enables deprescription with sustained clinical improvements would be beneficial. Thus, the purpose of this real-world study was to assess the effect of GLP-1 deprescription on glycemia and body weight following co-therapy with carbohydrate restricted nutrition therapy (CRNT) supported via telemedicine in a continuous remote care model.

Two different language games, Lingo Tapper and Word Link, are provided, containing both functions.

Background Long COVID syndrome originated as a patient phrased terminology which was initially used to describe a group of vague symptoms that persisted after recovering from COVID-19. However, it has moved from a patient to a recognized pathological entity which refers to a group of symptoms that lasts weeks or months after the COVID-19 illness. The novelty of this condition, the inadequacy of research on long COVID syndrome, and its origin as a patient-coined terminology necessitated exploring the disease's sentiments and conversations by analyzing publicly available tweets.
