Under the direction of the National Directorate General for Hospitals, and based on British examples and methodology, a new inpatient psychiatric ward with a high security level started operating at the National Institute of Psychiatry and Addictology in October 2023. As a new, independent unit, the High Security Psychiatry is a niche in Hungarian psychiatric care. The aim of the project was to reduce the burden on the whole mental health care system in Hungary, to increase public confidence in care and the safety of society through organizing of a specialised care team operating in an appropriate infrastructural environment.

Methods: Constructivist grounded theory methodology informed participant recruitment and data analysis. Adults with ABI were recruited using purposive sampling and data collected via in-depth interviews.

Background: Despite an overall decline in serious adverse events in hospitalized patients, approximately one third of inpatient mortality continues to relate to adverse events impacting patients on general wards. The preparedness of nurses, midwives, and nursing assistants (collectively referred to as ward-based staff) to recognize patient deterioration is therefore seen as critical.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to explore ward-based staff perspectives regarding their preparedness to recognize patient deterioration.

Purpose: As HF progresses into advanced HF, patients experience a poor quality of life, distressing symptoms, intensive care use, social distress, and eventual hospital death. We aimed to investigate the relationship between morality and potential prognostic factors among in-patient and emergency patients with HF.
Patients And Methods: A case series study: Data are collected from in-hospital and emergency care patients from 2014 to 2021, including their international classification of disease at admission, and laboratory data such as blood count, liver and renal functions, lipid profile, and other biochemistry from the hospital's electrical medical records.
