Objectives: To evaluate the availability and consistency of commercial driving eligibility criteria for patients with seizures.
Methods: We systematically evaluated commercial driver's license regulations for patients with epilepsy, first acute symptomatic seizure and first unprovoked seizure in different countries. Government driving authority websites and published guidelines were accessed and if not available, local neurologists were contacted.

In this study, we investigated the effect of severe dysphagia on the overall survival of patients who underwent PEG. A cohort of patients who underwent PEG between April 2016 and April 2021 was retrospectively analyzed. The Hyodo-Komagane score was used to evaluate swallowing via endoscopy.

Introduction: Pregnant people who smoke constitute a uniquely vulnerable population likely to be impacted by a menthol cigarette (MC) ban. However, there are no published reports of prevalence of prenatal MC use in a nationally-representative US sample including racial-ethnic disparities and associated characteristics.
Methods: Participants were 1245 US pregnant people who smoked MC or non-MC (NMC) in the past 30-days from the 2010-2019 National Survey on Drug Use and Health.

Background/objectives: Septic cardiomyopathy (SCM) is a severe cardiac complication of sepsis, characterized by cardiac dysfunction with limited effective treatments. This study aimed to identify repurposable drugs for SCM by integrated multi-omics and network analyses.
Methods: We generated a mouse model of SCM induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and then obtained comprehensive metabolic and genetic data from SCM mouse hearts using ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq).

Permanent teeth in adolescents are of critical significance as they are actively involved in mastication, contribute to aesthetic appearance, play a role in pronunciation, and are integral to the growth and development of the stomatognathic system. Specifically, permanent teeth in adolescents comprise those with incomplete root development and those with complete root development but unstable gingival margin positions.
