Saudi Arabia prioritises primary healthcare reform to address challenges like population growth, high demand, high costs, and unequal access. The 2030 vision aims to integrate and maintain primary healthcare centre (PHC) services, while the healthcare privatisation plan seeks to modernise and expand primary care, medical cities, and dialysis centres. A search was run on different databases, and 18 studies were included in the review based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Different determinants related to physical health, healthy environments, safety and security, life-long learning and social connection as well as access to quality services influence the way our brains develop, adapt and respond to stress and adversity.

This paper proposes a research framework to evaluate similar policies in different contexts. Disparities in access to oncology medicines in European Union (EU) member states can impact patient outcomes profoundly, with availability and timely access varying significantly across and within member states. This paper discusses the intersection of the new European Health Technology Assessment Regulation (HTAR), the provisions of the proposed pharmaceutical legislation and their potential impacts on access to oncology medicines across EU member states. The HTAR, seeking to standardise the clinical evaluation of new medicines, has the potential to streamline the evaluation process but also risks oversimplifying diverse national healthcare needs.
