Background: Granulocytic sarcoma (GS), or myeloid sarcoma or chloroma, is a tumoral mass containing myeloblasts and immature granulocytes in an anatomic site other than the bone marrow. GS is very rare in children with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). This case report presents a rare case of GS manifesting as a solitary bone mass.

Manual waste handling, common in many underdeveloped regions, often exposes workers to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) during material tasks. A study involving 92 workers highlighted the risks associated with the waste scraping and picking tasks, focusing on lower back, knee and neck joints. The study aimed to create improved equipment through iterative design.

Objective: To explore in a cross-sectional fashion if overweight individuals with knee osteoarthritis (OA) and intraarticular calcium crystal (CaC) deposits experience more knee joint inflammation and knee pain compared with individuals without CaC deposits.
Subjects And Methods: We used pre-randomization imaging data from an RCT, the LOSE-IT trial. Participants with knee OA (clinical diagnosis of knee OA and KLG 1-3) had CT and 3 T MRI of the index knee.

Introduction: We aimed to evaluate and compare the clinical benefits of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections compared to corticosteroid (CS) injections in patients who have mild to moderate symptomatic knee osteoarthritis in a double-blinded, randomized control trial. We aimed to compare improvements in the following outcomes at six weeks and three months: 1) pain scores, including Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), and 2) functional scores, including Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) and Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS).
Methods: In this double-blinded, randomized control trial, 52 patients who had symptomatic, radiographically confirmed knee osteoarthritis were enrolled.
