Extended target tracking (ETT) based on random matrices typically assumes that the measurement model is linear. However, nonlinear measurements (such as range and azimuth) depending on locations of a series of unknown scattering centers always exist in many practical tracking applications. To address this issue, this paper proposes an iteratively extended target tracking based on random matrices by using decorrelated unbiased conversion of nonlinear measurements (ETT-IDUCM).

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is widely applied to the field of ocean remote sensing. Clear SAR images are the basis for ocean information acquisitions, such as parameter retrieval of ocean waves and wind field inversion of the ocean surface. However, the SAR ocean images are usually blurred, which seriously affects the acquisition of ocean information.

The interaural level difference (ILD) is a robust indicator of sound source azimuth, and human ILD sensitivity persists under conditions that degrade normally-dominant interaural time difference (ITD) cues. Nonetheless, ILD sensitivity varies somewhat with both stimulus frequency and interaural correlation (coherence). To further investigate the combined binaural perceptual influence of these variables, the present study assessed ILD sensitivity at frequencies 250-4000 Hz using stimuli of varied interaural correlation.

We report temporally resolved simultaneous measurements of the turbulent Reynolds stresses in both the parallel and perpendicular directions and the corresponding particle fluxes in the fusion relevant cylindrical magnetized plasma device Controlled Shear Decorrelation eXperiment (CSDX). CSDX simulates the plasma conditions of multiple plasma instabilities that can arise in the scrape-off layer of fusion devices. In this study, we designed and used a 6-tip Langmuir probe in a novel yet simple design to simultaneously measure all the three dimensional components (radial, azimuthal, and axial) of fluctuations in velocity from the floating potentials and plasma densities with high temporal resolution.

A new calculation using off-shell matrix elements with TMD parton densities supplemented with a newly developed initial state TMD parton shower is described. The calculation is based on the KaTie package for an automated calculation of the partonic process in high-energy factorization, making use of TMD parton densities implemented in TMDlib. The partonic events are stored in an LHE file, similar to the conventional LHE files, but now containing the transverse momenta of the initial partons.
