Supersymmetric Spectral Form Factor and Euclidean Black Holes.

Phys Rev Lett

October 2023

Department of Physics, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, 291 Daehak-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon 34141, Republic of Korea.

The late-time behavior of spectral form factor (SFF) encodes the inherent discreteness of a quantum system, which should be generically nonvanishing. We study an index analog of the microcanonical spectrum form factor in four-dimensional N=4 super Yang-Mills theory. In the large N limit and at large enough energy, the most dominant saddle corresponds to the black hole in the AdS bulk.

Thermomagnetic properties, and its effects on Fisher information entropy with Schioberg plus Manning-Rosen potential are studied using NUFA and SUSYQM methods in the presence of the Greene-Aldrich approximation scheme to the centrifugal term. The wave function obtained was used to study Fisher information both in position and momentum spaces for different quantum states by the gamma function and digamma polynomials. The energy equation obtained in a closed form was used to deduce numerical energy spectra, partition function, and other thermomagnetic properties.

Linelike features in TeV γ rays constitute a "smoking gun" for TeV-scale particle dark matter and new physics. Probing the Galactic Center region with ground-based Cherenkov telescopes enables the search for TeV spectral features in immediate association with a dense dark matter reservoir at a sensitivity out of reach for satellite γ-ray detectors, and direct detection and collider experiments. We report on 223 hours of observations of the Galactic Center region with the MAGIC stereoscopic telescope system reaching γ-ray energies up to 100 TeV.

Exact Results for the Tavis-Cummings and Hückel Hamiltonians with Diagonal Disorder.

J Phys Chem A

August 2022

Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore 560012, India.

We present an exact method to calculate the electronic states of one electron Hamiltonians with diagonal disorder. We show that in cases where the disorder has a Cauchy distribution, the disorder averaged one particle Green's function can be calculated directly, using a deterministic, complex (non-Hermitian) Hamiltonian. For this we use the supersymmetric method which has already been used in problems of solid state physics.

Kink Dynamics and Quantum Simulation of Supersymmetric Lattice Hamiltonians.

Phys Rev Lett

February 2022

Institute for Theoretical Physics, University of Amsterdam, Science Park 904, 1098 XH Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We propose a quantum simulation of a supersymmetric lattice model using atoms trapped in a 1D configuration and interacting through a Rydberg dressed potential. The elementary excitations in the model are kinks or (in a sector with one extra particle) their superpartners-the skinks. The two are connected by supersymmetry and display identical quantum dynamics.
