Introduction: Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is a highly contagious and fatal disease affecting small ruminants, particularly goats and sheep, and is caused by Morbillivirus caprinae, a virus in the genus Morbillivirus, family Paramyxoviridae. PPR has significant economic and social impacts, especially in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, where small ruminants are vital to rural livelihoods and food security. This disease is a priority for global eradication due to its disproportionate impact on low-income farmers and wildlife conservation.

Background: The prompt and accurate identification of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is crucial for preventing its progression into more severe neurodegenerative diseases. However, current diagnostic solutions, such as biomarkers and cognitive screening tests, prove costly, time-consuming, and invasive, hindering patient compliance and the accessibility of these tests. Therefore, exploring a more cost-effective, efficient, and noninvasive method to aid clinicians in detecting MCI is necessary.

Objective: Pregnancy at advanced maternal age has become more common over the last decades. Therefore, the study aimed to describe the characteristics and maternal and perinatal outcomes of women giving birth at advanced maternal age and very advanced age.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of 2,300 singleton births that occurred in 2020-2021 at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Košice.
