Ultra-Clean-Air (UCA) operating theatres aim to minimise surgical instrument contamination and wound infection through high flow rates of ultra-clean air, reducing the presence of Microbe Carrying Particles (MCPs). This study investigates the airflow patterns and ventilation characteristics of a UCA operating theatre (OT) under standard ventilation system operating conditions, considering both empty and partially occupied scenarios. Utilising a precise computational model, quasi-Direct Numerical Simulations (qDNS) were conducted to delineate flow velocity profiles, energy spectra, distributions of turbulent kinetic energy, energy dissipation rate, local Kolmogorov scales, and pressure-based coherent structures.

Aim: The aim of this study was to identify and analyze the most cited articles on vital pulp therapies.
Methodology: Bibliographical data related to the abstract, citations, keywords, and other relevant information was extracted using different combinations of keywords. Further evaluation and visualization of the selected data were performed with the help of various tools, including MS Excel, Microsoft Word, Google open refine, BibExcel, and VOS viewer.

We study fluctuations of the local energy cascade rate Φ_{ℓ} in turbulent flows at scales (ℓ) in the inertial range. According to the Kolmogorov refined similarity hypothesis (KRSH), relevant statistical properties of Φ_{ℓ} should depend on ε_{ℓ}, the viscous dissipation rate locally averaged over a sphere of size ℓ, rather than on the global average dissipation. However, the validity of KRSH applied to Φ_{ℓ} has not yet been tested from data.

Correlating transcriptional profiles with imaging-derived phenotypes has the potential to reveal possible molecular architectures associated with cognitive functions, brain development and disorders. Competitive null models built by resampling genes and self-contained null models built by spinning brain regions, along with varying test statistics, have been used to determine the significance of transcriptional associations. However, there has been no systematic evaluation of their performance in imaging transcriptomics analyses.
