The tetragonal heavy-fermion superconductor CeRh_{2}As_{2} (T_{c}=0.3  K) exhibits an exceptionally high critical field of 14 T for B∥c. It undergoes a field-driven first-order phase transition between superconducting states, potentially transitioning from spin-singlet to spin-triplet superconductivity.

Anisotropy is a fundamental property of both material and photonic systems. The interplay between material and photonic anisotropies, however, has hardly been explored due to the vastly different length scales. Here we demonstrate exciton polaritons in a 2D antiferromagnet, CrSBr, coupled with an anisotropic photonic crystal cavity, where the spin, atomic, and photonic anisotropies are strongly correlated.

Transition metal phosphorus sulfides (MPS), a family of two-dimensional magnetic materials with a van der Waals structure, exhibit promising applications in nonlinear optical devices. The emergence of carrier coherence in MPS is a fascinating topic in coherently controlling the nonlinear effect (or other novel phenomena). Herein, we systematically investigated the third-order nonlinear optical responses of MPS (M = Ni, Fe, Mn) flake suspensions based on spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM) effect.

Five alkali metal manganese(III) fluorophosphates, KMn(POF)F (I), RbMn(POF)F (II), RbMn(POF)(PO)F (III), RbMn(POF)(PO)F (IV), and CsMn(POF)F (V), were successfully synthesized using a hydrothermal method. The monofluorophosphate anion (POF) groups work as "chemical scissors" to promote low-dimensional spin structures with the aid of alkali metal cations. I and II had an = 2 uniform chain structure formed by corner-sharing -MnOF octahedra.

Experimental detection of antiferromagnetic order in two-dimensional materials is a challenging task. Identifying multidomain antiferromagnetic textures via the current techniques is even more difficult. Therefore, we investigate the higher-order multipole moments in twisted bilayer MnPSe.
