The central nervous system (CNS) tumor with embryonal tumors type is a rare type of CNS tumor with lack of unifying genetic alterations or diagnostic markers. The CNS tumor-embryonal tumors (CETs) have limited therapeutic options with high probability of adverse events associated with conventional treatment. Background: Radiotherapy is often given with androgen deprivation therapy for prostate cancer which causes a reduction in testosterone levels, which when below castrate levels, can cause the prostate specific antigen (PSA) levels to be artificially low.

Recently, vitamin D supplementation has been found to enhance T regulatory lymphocytes, which are reduced in individuals with COVID-19. Increased risk of pneumonia and increases in inflammatory cytokines have been reported to be major threats associated with vitamin-D deficiency.

Background and objective Prostate cancer (PCA) is the most prevalent cancer among males. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends referral to PCA diagnostic pathway based on two criteria: (1) abnormal digital rectal examination (DRE) and (2) elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA). This study evaluates the diagnostic value of routine DRE in patients undergoing PCA assessment with pre-biopsy MRI.

Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/CT is increasingly used for primary staging in prostate cancer (PC), mainly because of its improved accuracy in detecting lymph node metastases compared with conventional imaging. However, the diagnostic benefit of PSMA PET/CT for detecting bone metastases is less well established. This study compares the diagnostic accuracy of F-PSMA PET/CT and F-NaF PET/CT for detecting bone metastases in patients newly diagnosed with PC.
