It is shown that valid annual planning of the activities of the State Epidemiological and Sanitary Control Service oriented on social well-being parameters helps determine the role of each specialist of the staff, the scope of the measures and their sequence, thus warranting effective work of the service.

Purpose: To review recent advances with radiation therapy (RT) for soft tissue sarcomas (STS).

Recent Findings: Newer data showcases hypofractionated preoperative RT for soft tissue sarcomas treated with surgery to be safe and effective, however, long-term follow up data is pending. Hypofractionated and dose-escalated RT in patients with unresectable STS is also being studied, for which we remain optimistic given advances in RT planning approaches.

Schizophrenia is a serious psychiatric condition requiring continuous treatment with antipsychotic medications available in different formulations, including oral antipsychotics (OAPs) and long-acting injectables (LAIs). This narrative review aims to comprehensively outline the advantages and disadvantages of OAPs and LAIs to support clinicians in choosing different formulations based on the presentation of clinical symptoms.
