Background: Vascular calcification is a detrimental aging pathology markedly accelerated in patients with chronic kidney disease. Prelamin A is a biomarker of vascular smooth muscle cell aging that accelerates calcification however the mechanisms remain undefined.
Methods: Vascular smooth muscle cells were transduced with prelamin A using an adenoviral vector and epigenetic modifications were monitored using immunofluorescence and targeted polymerase chain reaction array.

Introduction: The increase in the prevalence of obesity has become a common public health issue worldwide, with low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) like India witnessing an equal rise. It makes a considerable contribution to chronic diseases as it is a major risk factor for other chronic illnesses. Multimorbidity, or the presence of two or more chronic illnesses, is becoming more common in LMICs, resulting in poor health outcomes.

Visual-language models (VLMs) excel in cross-modal reasoning by synthesizing visual and linguistic features. Recent VLMs use prompt learning for fine-tuning, allowing adaptation to various downstream tasks. TCP applies class-aware prompt tuning to improve VLMs generalization, yet its reliance on fixed text templates as prior knowledge can limit adaptability to fine-grained category distinctions.
