Chiral magnetic textures give rise to unconventional magnetotransport phenomena such as the topological Hall effect and nonreciprocal electronic transport. While the correspondence between topology or symmetry of chiral magnetic structures and such transport phenomena has been well established, a microscopic understanding based on the spin-dependent band structure in momentum space remains elusive. Here, we demonstrate how a chiral magnetic superstructure introduces an asymmetry in the electronic band structure and triggers a nonreciprocal electronic transport in a centrosymmetric helimagnet α-EuP.

Electric field control of magnetodynamics in magnetoelectric (ME) heterostructures has been the subject of recent interest due to its fundamental complexity and promising applications in room temperature devices. The present work focuses on the tuning of magnetodynamic parameters of epitaxially grown ferromagnetic (FM) LaSrMnO(LSMO) on a ferro(piezo)electric (FE) Pb(MgNb)O-PbTiO(PMN-PT) single crystal substrate. The uniaxial magnetic anisotropy of LSMO on PMN-PT confirms the ME coupling at the FM/FE heterointerface.

Our recent work has demonstrated that the spin-dependent photogalvanic effect (PGE) is an ideal way to induce pure spin current in certain centrosymmetric systems (X. Tao, P. Jiang, H.

Herein, we report on the synthesis of a microporous, three-dimensional phosphonate metal-organic framework (MOF) with the composition Cu (H -MTPPA) ⋅ 2 NMP (H -MTPPA=methane tetra-p-phenylphosphonic acid and NMP=N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone). This MOF, termed TUB1, has a unique one-dimensional inorganic building unit composed of square planar and distorted trigonal bipyramidal copper atoms. It possesses a (calculated) BET surface area of 766.

We propose a new approach to obtain the momentum expectation value of an electron in a high-intensity laser, including multiple photon emissions and loops. We find a recursive formula that allows us to obtain the O(α^{n}) term from O(α^{n-1}), which can also be expressed as an integro-differential equation. In the classical limit we obtain the solution to the Landau-Lifshitz equation to all orders.
