Background: Rapid socio-economic developments confront China with a rising consumption of ultra-processed foods (UPFs) and ultra-processed drinks (UPDs). This study aims to evaluate their potential impact on diet transformation towards sustainability including nutrition, environmental sustainability, and diet-related cost.

Methods: Dietary intake was assessed by 24 h recalls in 27,311 participants (age: 40.

Improving physical balance among older workers is essential for preventing falls in workplace. We aimed to elucidate the age-related decline in one-leg standing time with eyes closed, an indicator of static balance, and mitigating influence of daily walking habits on this decline in Japan. This longitudinal study involved 249 manufacturing workers, including seven females, aged 20-66 years engaged in tasks performed at height in the aircraft and spacecraft machinery industry.

The low-frequency resistance fluctuations, or noise, in electrical resistance not only set a performance benchmark in devices but also form a sensitive tool to probe nontrivial electronic phases and band structures in solids. Here, we report the measurement of such noise in the electrical resistance in twisted bilayer graphene (tBLG), where the layers are misoriented close to the magic angle (θ ∼ 1°). At high temperatures ( ≳ 60-70 K), the power spectral density (PSD) of the fluctuation inside the low-energy moiré bands is predominantly ∝1/, where is the frequency, being generally lowest close to the magic angle, and can be well-explained within the conventional McWhorter model of the '1/ noise' with trap-assisted density-mobility fluctuations.

Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications, Cracow University of Technology, Warszawska 24, 31-155 Cracow, Poland.

Modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence methods such as machine learning, hold immense potential for supporting doctors with cancer diagnostics. This study explores the enhancement of popular machine learning methods using a bio-inspired algorithm-the naked mole-rat algorithm (NMRA)-to assess the malignancy of thyroid tumors. The study utilized a novel dataset released in 2022, containing data collected at Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University.
