LiFeMnPO (0 < < 1) has a high operating voltage range and theoretical energy density, but its actual capacity decreased due to its low electronic conductivity. To overcome this problem, we successfully prepared LiFeMnPO/C (LFMP/C) with a uniform carbon coating by a one-step solvothermal method using bamboo shavings as the carbon source. The results showed that heating at a reaction temperature of 180 °C for 18 h was the optimal synthesis condition to obtain LFMP/C.

In recent decades, electrokinetic handling of microparticles and biological cells found many applications ranging from biomedical diagnostics to microscale assembly. The integration of electrokinetic handling such as dielectrophoresis (DEP) greatly benefits microfluidic point-of-care systems as many modern assays require cell handling. Compared to traditional pump-driven microfluidics, typically used for DEP applications, centrifugal CD microfluidics provides the ability to consolidate various liquid handling tasks in self-contained discs under the control of a single motor.

With the development of cities, the issue of excess nitrate in wastewater has become increasingly severe. Electrochemical technology has garnered significant attention due to its straightforward operation and environmental sustainability. A CoO/GF cathode was successfully prepared by depositing CoO onto Graphite felt (GF) using an electrochemical deposition-calcination method.

Endoscopic intraductal radiofrequency ablation (ID-RFA) can curatively treat residual intraductal lesions after endoscopic papillectomy. This study aimed to verify the tissue invasiveness of ID-RFA using a novel RF generator and to explore its appropriate settings in an animal experiment, followed by a small clinical study. Pig liver specimens were ablated using a dedicated RF catheter and two RF generators to investigate structural differences between them and the ablation effects produced under various voltage and power settings.
