Magnetic antiskyrmions, the anti-quasiparticles of magnetic skyrmions, possess alternating Bloch- and Néel-type spin spirals, rendering them promising for advanced spintronics-based information storage. To date, antiskyrmions are demonstrated in a few bulk materials featuring anisotropic Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions and a limited number of artificial multilayers. Identifying novel film materials capable of hosting isolated antiskyrmions is critical for memory applications in topological spintronics.

The function of biomolecular systems, including biological macromolecules, often crucially depends on their dynamics. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is one of the most informative methods used to study biomolecules and their internal mobility, with atomic resolution, in near-physiological conditions. NMR relaxation profiles, obtained from the field dependence of the nuclear relaxation rates, in particular, offer the possibility to probe dynamic processes over a wide range of time scales.

Background: Changes in brain functional connectivity obtained from resting state MRI (rs-fMRI) have been found to be associated with cognitive decline and neurodegeneration in clinical trial participants with Alzheimer's disease (AD). This study investigates whether and how this technique can be used in AD clinical trials to monitor treatment effects. Specifically, we analyzed changes in brain functional connectivity over a period of 116 weeks in participants with AD treated with gantenerumab, an investigational anti-amyloid beta monoclonal antibody.

The contribution of protons in or near biradical polarizing agents in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) has recently been under scrutiny. Results from selective deuteration and simulations have previously suggested that the role of protons in the biradical molecule depends on the strength of the electron-electron coupling. Here we use the cross effect DNP mechanism to identify and acquire H solid-state NMR spectra of the protons that contribute to propagation of the hyperpolarization, via an experimental approach dubbed Nuclear-Nuclear Double Resonance (NUDOR).
