The integration of renewable energy sources into microgrids presents some challenges due to the decreased system overall inertia associated with the presence of converter -based sources. To overcome this issue and to enhance the system inertia, various concepts for virtual inertial control have been proposed in the literature. However, the concept of improving the system frequency through wind turbines has gained widespread acceptance.

Methods based on enzyme labelling strategies have been widely developed for capacitance immunoassays, but most suffer from low sensitivity and are unfavorable for routine use in the early stages of diagnostics. Herein, we designed a highly efficient capacitance immunosensing method for the low-abundance neuroblastoma biomarker neuron-specific enolase (NSE) using an interdigitated micro-comb electrode. Initially, monoclonal mouse anti-human NSE capture antibodies were immobilized on the interdigitated gold electrodes using bovine serum albumin.

Understanding the dynamics of injected charge carriers is crucial for the analysis of the perovskite light-emitting diode (PeLED) operation. The behavior of the injected carriers largely dictates the external quantum efficiency (EQE) roll-off at high current densities and the temperature dependence of the EQE in PeLEDs. However, limitations such as sample capacitance and external circuitry hinder precise control of carrier injection rates, making it challenging to directly track the dynamics of individual carriers.

Introduction: Breathing and postural control is reported to be both neuromuscularly and mechanically interdependent. To date, the effects of voluntary abdominal and thoracic breathing (VAB and VTB) on the EMG activity of muscles involved in both respiratory and postural functions, as well as gait biomechanics related to these breathing patterns, have not been investigated in young, healthy adults. The aim of the study was to evaluate the EMG responses of neck and trunk muscles, as well as the kinematic, stability, and kinetic parameters of gait induced by VAB and VTB compared to involuntary breathing (INB).

Capacitive dielectric temperature sensors based on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) loaded with 10 vol% of inexpensive, commercially-available conductive fillers including copper, graphite, and milled carbon fiber (PDMS-CF) powders are reported. The sensors are tested in the range of 20-110 °C and from 0.5 to 200 MHz, with enhanced sensitivity from 20 to 60 °C, and a relative response of 85.
