Purpose: This study aims to accurately predict the effects of hormonal therapy on prostate cancer (PC) lesions by integrating multi-modality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and the clinical marker prostate-specific antigen (PSA). It addresses the limitations of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) in capturing long-range spatial relations and the Vision Transformer (ViT)'s deficiency in localization information due to consecutive downsampling. The research question focuses on improving PC response prediction accuracy by combining both approaches.

Aim: The current study was performed to notice the tangible causes of sudden death among 51 out of 340 she-camels on a private farm in the eastern region of El Khafgi, Saudi Arabia.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study design was conducted to investigate the sudden death of camels through microscopic examination of fecal matter to identify the gastrointestinal parasites, analysis of whole blood thin films to diagnose blood parasites, blood culturing to recognize bacterial infection as , and macroscopic postmortem examination to identify the gastrointestinal adult worm.
Aim And Objectives: This study evaluated the awareness, knowledge, and attitude regarding forensic odontology (FO) among dental students and graduates at Beni-Suef University and Badr University in Cairo, Egypt.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 316 dentists and dental students in their final year of undergraduate study. An online self-administered questionnaire in English was used to obtain participants' responses.
Objective: The present study was designed to investigate the nephroprotective and immunoprotective effects of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) in comparison to N-acetylcysteine (NAC) against ochratoxin A (OTA) - intoxication.
Methods: Forty-eight adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were categorized into four groups: Control; OTA intoxication (5 mg OTA/kg diet); OTA + NAC, rats received 200 mg NAC/day before feeding balanced diet contaminated with OTA; and (OTA + SAMe). Rats received 200 mg SAMe/day dissolved in distilled water orally just before feeding a balanced diet contaminated with OTA.
Objective: The following study examines for the first time the changes that occur in the post-partum period following abortion in the first trimester of dairy cows using hormonal, hematological, and oxidant/antioxidant profiles. In addition, a bacteriological examination was also performed to explore the role of infections in the complications that occur during this period.
Materials And Methods: One hundred cows were split into two equal groups: The first group enrolled cows that suffered from abortion in the first trimester.
Introduction: Heroin use disorder (HUD) is a seriously increasing health issue, accounting for most deaths among drug abusers. Studying non-coding ribonucleic acid gene expression among drug abusers is a promising approach, as it may be used in diagnosis and therapeutics.
Participants And Methods: A total of 49 male heroin-dependent patients and 49 male control participants were recruited from Kasr Al Ainy Psychiatry and Addiction outpatient clinics, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

We propose an automated, explainable artificial intelligence (xAI) system for age-related macular degeneration (AMD) diagnosis. Mimicking the physician's perceptions, the proposed xAI system is capable of deriving clinically meaningful features from optical coherence tomography (OCT) B-scan images to differentiate between a normal retina, different grades of AMD (early, intermediate, geographic atrophy (GA), inactive wet or active neovascular disease [exudative or wet AMD]), and non-AMD diseases. Particularly, we extract retinal OCT-based clinical imaging markers that are correlated with the progression of AMD, which include: (i) subretinal tissue, sub-retinal pigment epithelial tissue, intraretinal fluid, subretinal fluid, and choroidal hypertransmission detection using a DeepLabV3+ network; (ii) detection of merged retina layers using a novel convolutional neural network model; (iii) drusen detection based on 2D curvature analysis; (iv) estimation of retinal layers' thickness, and first-order and higher-order reflectivity features.

This work proposes a multi-stage classification network built on a multi-scale (pyramidal) feature ensemble architecture for retinal image classification using optical coherence tomography (OCT) images. First, a scale-adaptive neural network is developed to produce multi-scale inputs for feature extraction and ensemble learning.

Periodontal intervention is needed throughout all phases of orthodontic treatment, from orthodontic diagnosis to mid-treatment periodontal assessment and postoperative evaluation. Invariably, periodontal health affects orthodontic success.

However, individuals with complete SCIs can voluntarily activate paralyzed lower limb muscles alone or by engaging non-paralyzed muscles during neurophysiological assessments, indicating presence of residual pathways across the injury. However, similar phenomena have not been explored for the upper extremity (UE) muscles following cervical SCIs.

This sheep breed is also commonly known for its resistance to arid and harsh environmental conditions. Such characteristics can be exploited in solving the problematic situation of inadequate animal protein for human consumption, particularly under climatic changes.

Given that periodontal diseases have been linked to respiratory illnesses like pneumonia, it is quite possible that periodontitis and COVID-19 are related. Therefore, the purpose of the current study was to ascertain whether the severity of COVID-19 and periodontal disease are related.

Methods: The present retrospective case series study was conducted on 24 patients who had MMFD and treated via resection and immediate reconstruction at Al-Azhar University Hospitals, Egypt. Patients were divided into three groups according to the grafting procedure.
Toothbrush ingestion is a rare phenomenon. It is usually found in psychiatric, elderly and mentally disabled patients. Foreign bodies usually pass spontaneously and uneventfully through the gastrointestinal tract.

Our system first classifies the Gleason pattern (GP) from PBSs and then identifies the Gleason score (GS) and GG. We developed a comprehensive DL-based approach to develop a grading pipeline system for the digitized PBSs and consider GP as a classification problem (not segmentation) compared to current research studies (deals with as a segmentation problem).

In this regard, this paper aims to propose an automated and accurate DCE-MRI kidney segmentation method integrating fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering and Markov random field modeling into a level set formulation. The fuzzy memberships, kidney's shape prior model, and spatial interactions modeled using a second-order MRF guide the LS contour evolution towards the target kidney.

Alzheimer's is progressive and irreversible type of dementia, which causes degeneration and death of cells and their connections in the brain. AD worsens over time and greatly impacts patients' life and affects their important mental functions, including thinking, the ability to carry on a conversation, and judgment and response to environment. Clinically, there is no single test to effectively diagnose Alzheimer disease.

In this paper, a machine learning-based system for the prediction of the required level of respiratory support in COVID-19 patients is proposed. The level of respiratory support is divided into three classes: class 0 which refers to minimal support, class 1 which refers to non-invasive support, and class 2 which refers to invasive support. A two-stage classification system is built.

Among the four most common subtypes of renal cell carcinoma, clear cell renal cell carcinoma has the worst prognosis and clear cell papillary renal cell carcinoma appears to have no malignant potential. Distinction between these two subtypes can be difficult due to morphologic overlap on examination of histopathological preparation stained with hematoxylin and eosin.
