Purpose: An atypical presentation of cervical spondylopathy (CS), trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is attributable to the extension of trigeminal nuclei into the spinal cord and is frequently overlooked, leading to limited discussion with patients regarding potential anterior cervical surgery. Our systematic review assesses the effectiveness of cervical surgery for concurrent trigeminal neuralgia in cases of cervical spondylopathy.

Methods: A systematic review exploring cases of trigeminal neuralgia related to cervical spondylopathy was conducted searching on PubMed, Scopus and Embase databases for article in English.

Electronic Sepsis Screening Among Patients Admitted to Hospital Wards: A Stepped-Wedge Cluster Randomized Trial.

Importance: Sepsis screening is recommended among hospitalized patients but is supported by limited evidence of effectiveness.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of electronic sepsis screening, compared with no screening, on mortality among hospitalized ward patients.

Design, Setting, And Participants: In a stepped-wedge, cluster randomized trial at 5 hospitals in Saudi Arabia, 45 wards (clusters) were randomized into 9 sequences, 5 wards each, to have sepsis screening implemented at 2-month periods.

A Novel Technique for Spreader Flap by Folding the Dorsal Hump in Patients Undergoing Primary Rhinoplasty.

Objectives: We describe our novel modified spreader flap, which involves keeping the large cartilaginous septal T hump attached to the upper lateral cartilages to increase the thickness and length of the flap. Our objectives were to assess hump reduction and recurrence, nasal axis deviation, dorsal width, internal nasal valve grade, and Rhinoplasty Outcome Evaluation (ROE) score preoperatively and one year postoperatively.
