This framework subsumes several existing methods that variationally optimize their pro-atoms, like (Gaussian) iterative stockholder analysis (ISA and GISA) and minimal basis iterative stockholder partitioning (MBIS), and provides a solid foundation for developing mathematically rigorous partitioning schemes. In this paper, we delve into the mathematical underpinnings of Hirshfeld-inspired partitioning schemes and show that among all the valid -divergence measures only the extended Kullback-Leibler is a suitable choice.

The primary healthcare (PHC) rotation places medical students in rural district hospitals for 4 weeks during their 4th or 5th year. This rotation is a collaboration among three academic units at Stellenbosch University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Learning activities during this rotation include participation in a longitudinal community-oriented primary care project, conducting rehabilitation-oriented home visits to persons with disabilities, and assessing and treating patients presenting with undifferentiated problems on an in- and outpatient basis.

Specifically, GBasis allows one to evaluate functions expanded in Gaussian basis functions (including molecular orbitals, electron density, and reduced density matrices) and to compute functionals of Gaussian basis functions (overlap integrals, one-electron integrals, and two-electron integrals). Unique features of GBasis include supporting evaluation and analytical integration of arbitrary-order derivatives of the density (matrices), computation of a broad range of (screened) Coulomb interactions, and evaluation of overlap integrals of arbitrary numbers of Gaussians in arbitrarily high dimensions.

The utilization of expanded criteria donor kidneys within the category of deceased donors has enlarged the pool of available kidneys for transplantation; however, these grafts often have an increased risk for delayed graft function or reduced graft survival following transplantation. Stellenbosch University embarked on a renewal of its MBChB programme guided by an updated set of core values developed by the multidisciplinary curriculum task team. These values acknowledged the important role of (among others) context and generalism in the development of our graduates as doctors of the future for South Africa. Methods: Qualitative data was collected from the students through written reflections and semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed thematically using a phenomenological approach guided by Mezirow's theory of transformative learning.
Background: There is a global concern over intraoperative patient safety, as adverse events are on the rise. When the World Health Organization Surgical Safety Checklist (WHO SSC) is used correctly, it has the potential to prevent such events. Unfortunately, the intraoperative team in the designated hospital lacked the cooperation to successfully use the checklist.

If the first ATP attempt is unsuccessful, the algorithm analyzes the tachycardia cycle length and the postpacing interval and adjusts the subsequent sequence to successfully terminate VT. Idiopathic ventricular tachycardia (VT) is an important cause of morbidity and less commonly, mortality in patients with structurally normal hearts. Appropriate diagnosis and management are predicated on an understanding of the mechanism, relevant cardiac anatomy, and associated ECG signatures. Catheter ablation is a viable strategy to adequately treat and potentially provide a cure in patients that are intolerant to medications or when these are ineffective.
