Unlabelled: The aim of this study was to analyze patients diagnosed with chylothorax after congenital heart disease surgery among a cohort of neonatal patients, comparing the evolution, complications, and prognosis after surgery of patients who were and were not diagnosed with chylothorax, and to analyze possible risk factors that may predict the appearance of chylothorax in this population. Retrospective and observational study included all neonates (less than 30 days since birth) who underwent congenital heart disease surgery in a level III neonatal intensive care department. We included infants born between January 2014 and December 2019.

Our objective was to describe the Spanish experience of this technique and analyze its reliability and short- to mid-term efficacy.
Methods: National multicenter observational study, which retrospectively recruited all patients (of any age) with VSD (of any location or type) who underwent percutaneous NitOcclud occlusion, using an intention-to-treat analysis, until January 2019.

Aims: Transcatheter implantation of pulmonary balloon-expandable stent-valves requires pre-stenting of the right ventricular outflow tract with large calibre stents. To increase awareness of the associated risks of this part of transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement therapy, we report potential fatal complications during the implantation of AndraStents® in the right ventricular outflow tract in six cases from five different European institutions and their management.
Method And Result: We present a retrospective case series analysis looking at the time period from 2013 to 2018.

Percutaneous treatment of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in extreme premature infants is technically difficult, and therefore, often not consider as an alternative to surgery. The main objective of our work was to compare respiratory status prior and post ductal closure and morbi-mortality, in our series of preterm infants with percutaneous PDA closure versus surgical ligation in the same time-period. Retrospective review of all premature infants submitted to percutaneous and surgical PDA closure from January 2011 to December 2016.

To gather current experience in Occlutech ASD device retrieval, to determine whether snaring is an effective technique and to highlight alternative retrieval techniques; METHODS AND RESULTS: United Kingdom and European Occlutech ASD device implanters reported their experience in dealing with device embolization and retrieval. Six operators reported 12 retrieval cases. Retrieval was successful in 92% (11/12), although in most cases it was not straightforward and required multiple attempts using different techniques and equipment.

Most patients respond to a low-fat diet or to parenteral nutrition, but pleuroperitoneal drainage or thoracic duct ligature is sometimes required. We present the case of a 3-year-old girl with Down syndrome and complex atrioventricular canal defect who presented chylothorax 22 days after the Glenn procedure with bidirectional pulmonary-cava fistula.

Background percutaneous PDA occlusion has been proposed as a valid therapeutic alternative to surgical closure. Between April 1990 and July 1994, 44 patients underwent percutaneous PDA occlusion. Thirteen patients were less than 18 months old and weighed 8.
