Background: Since the emergence of COVID-19, China has taken strict prevention and control measures against the disease. At the end of 2022, when the government optimized and relaxed the COVID-19 prevention and control policy, a new wave of the epidemic appeared. This paper reports an outbreak of COVID-19 among inpatients in a psychiatric hospital in Wenzhou, China.

Background: This study was designed to assess stress levels and related factors during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic among individuals in centralized quarantine camps in Wenzhou, China.

Methods: The survey was conducted using a questionnaire. The questionnaire included questions on sociodemographic characteristics, life events related to the COVID-19 and stressful situations, as well as Perceived Stress Scale-14.

Background: Home-quarantine is one of the most common measures implemented to prevent or minimize the transmission of COVID-19 among communities. This study assessed stress levels of the home-quarantined residents in Shanghai during a massive wave of COVID-19 epidemic this year, explored the stress sources perceived by the respondents, and analyzed the association between each of the sociodemographic factors and the stress level.

In this study, we report a COVID-19 outbreak that occurred in a departmental store, between January and February 2020, in Wenzhou, China and investigated the reasons for the outbreak.

This study aimed to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) during 2008-14 in Wenzhou, China. The epidemiological data of HFMD retrieved from the Wenzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention were retrospectively analyzed. HFMD infections with enterovirus 71 (EV71), Cox A16 or other pathogens were further verified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and real-time PCR.

Introduction: Neonatal tetanus is a major cause of neonatal mortality in many developing countries and remains a major public health problem. This study aimed to determine risk factors associated with neonatal tetanus in Wenzhou, China.

Methodology: Medical records of neonatal tetanus cases from 17 hospitals over a 13-year period (2000-2012) were reviewed for potential risk factors.

Status and risk factors of unintentional injuries among Chinese undergraduates: a cross-sectional study.

Background: Injuries affect all age groups but have a particular impact on young people. To evaluate the incidence of non-fatal, unintentional, injuries among undergraduates in Wenzhou, China, assess the burden caused by these injuries, and explore the associated risk factors for unintentional injuries among these undergraduates, we conducted a college-based cross-sectional study.

Methods: Participants were selected by a multi-stage random sampling method, and 2,287 students were asked whether they had had an injury in the last 12 months; the location, cause, and consequences of the event.

Objective: To study the epidemiological features of tic disorders (TD) among schoolchildren in Wenzhou area.

Methods: Stratified cluster sampling was carried out to investigate TD in 9742 schoolchildren aged 7 to 16 years old in Wenzhou.

Results: The average prevalence rate of TD among school-age children was 104/10 000 (166/10 000 for males, 29/10 000 for females).

Results: The prevalence of TS among school-age children was estimated to be 0.
