Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to investigate how hydrogel loaded with exosomes from Wharton's Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (WJMSC) can aid in wound healing.
  • Exosomes were extracted and analyzed, and a WEX-gel was created, which was tested for its ability to promote healing in a mouse wound model.
  • Results showed that WEX-gel not only reduced wound size significantly but also influenced immune cell behavior, suggesting its potential for enhancing wound healing.

Colorectal cancer (CRC), a common malignancy, is one of the leading cause of cancer death in adults. AT-rich interaction domain 1A (ARID1A), a critical portion of the SWItch/sucrose non-fermentation (SWI/SNF) chromatin remodeling complexes, shows one of the most frequent mutant genes across different human cancer types. Deleterious variations of ARID1A has been recognized to be correlated the tumorigenesis and the poor prognosis of CRC.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common cancer type in the digestive tract. Chemotherapy drugs, such as oxaliplatin, are frequently administered to CRC patients diagnosed with advanced or metastatic disease. A better understanding of the molecular mechanism underlying CRC tumorigenesis and the identification of optimal biomarkers for assessing chemotherapy sensitivity are essential for the treatment of CRC.
