The aim of this study is to evaluate the histopathological examinations of biopsy samples obtained from patients, and to determine the prevalence, age, and gender distribution of intraoral benign lesions. The study examines the distribution of all benign intraoral pathologies, including both soft tissue and hard tissue lesions, through which the goal is to contribute to clinical diagnostic processes. The histopathological evaluation results of 235 patients who underwent biopsy between 2021 and 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.

Methods: This study was prospectively conducted at the Ege University Faculty of Medicine ED between February 19, 2021 and December 01, 2021. Patients who received NIMV with ACPE were included.
Genital tract infections are common causes of male infertility, and most of diagnosed men are asymptomatic. This study examined the effect of gallic acid (GA) against lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced testicular inflammation. Thirty-two Spraque Dawley, 2.

TAT-HA2 in all three systems protected siRNA from degradation, except in the conjugate system with a low Peptide/siRNA ratio. The synergistic effect of different peptide domains enhanced the transfection efficiency of multicomponent and conjugate systems compared to that of peptideplexes, which was attributed to the surface configuration of TAT-HA2 peptides depending on the nature of attachment.

This paper investigates the influence of waste paper sludge ([Formula: see text]) as an alternative sustainable stabilizer on the volume change behavior of expansive road subgrade soils of different origins. For this purpose, [Formula: see text] was added to the expansive soils at ratios of 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15% by dry weight of the soils.

The research was designed using a quasi-experimental model with a pre-test and post-test control group and was conducted over a period of 16 weeks. The study group consisted of a total of 1871 students, including 1379 middle school and 492 high school students, continuing their education in Eskil, Aksaray during the 2023-2024 academic year.

There are numerous direct or indirect evaluation techniques in the market. However, most of these methods have some limitations like requiring lane closure or being expensive.

Method: We conducted a single-center and retrospective study including patients with COVID-19 diagnosis who were hospitalized. Patients were categorized into three groups as those who received low-dose (LDVC group, 2 g/day, n = 183) or high-dose IV-VC (HDVC group, 25 g/day, n = 41) and who did not receive IV-VC (control group, n = 46).
Previous studies investigating behavioural health screening processes have focused on selected diagnoses within paediatric cardiology and focused on a smaller number of potential concerns. We developed and administered a brief survey in our paediatric heart centre to assess the presence of a wider variety of behavioural health concerns and to connect patients with resources. A cohort of 305 patients aged 2-29 years ( = 11.

A comprehensive set of 246 specimens, including 4, 7.6, and 12 mm thick plates with 20 and 30 mm diameter bolts and different end spacings, were tested.

However, it is still unclear how ultrasound can be combined with existing risk scores.
Objectives: In this study, it was aimed to examine the contribution of the use of bedside USG to current risk scores in the evaluation of patients presenting to the ED with syncope.
Background: The aim of this study was to examine variations in stress, metabolic, and physiological parameters of horses used in the traditional equestrian team sport of Kök-Börü in relation to winning and losing outcomes.
Material And Methods: To accomplish this, blood samples were taken from horses on four different teams who participated in two separate games, both before and after game. These samples were used to measure levels of cortisol, ACTH, beta-endorphin, adrenaline, noradrenaline, triiodothyronine (T3), and thyroxine (T4) via species-specific commercial ELISA kits.
Objectives: We aimed to investigate the effects of quercetin (QRC) against cyclophosphamide (CP)-induced testicular damage and how it interacts with apoptotic and inflammatory signaling pathways.
Materials And Methods: Forty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups, 10 in each group; Control group (corn oil, intragastrically, 14 days), QRC group (100 mg/kg QRC, dissolved in corn oil, 14 days), CP group (200 mg/kg CP, intraperitoneally, single dose on the 7th day), and CP+QRC group (100 mg/kg QRC, intragastrically, 14 days and 200 mg/kg CP, intraperitoneally, single dose on the 7th day). Animals were sacrificed one day after the last QRC application and the effects of quercetin were evaluated by histological, morphometrical, and hormonal parameters.

This study aimed to evaluate whether the Pediatric Dysphagia Risk Screening Instrument (PDRSI) was a suitable test for children with cerebral palsy (CP) and assess the instrument's Turkish validity and reliability. One-hundred twenty-six children with CP participated in this study. "Cronbach's alpha (ɑ)," "Cronbach's ɑ when one item is deleted," "inter-item correlation," and "corrected item-to-total correlation" were used to assess internal consistency.

In total, 35 critically ill COVID-19 patients were included. Twenty-one critically ill COVID-19 patients with a Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score below or equal to 7 were compared to 14 critically ill COVID-19 patients with a SOFA score exceeding 7.

We aimed to evaluate the clinical characteristics of the patients with GBS and the outcome results of the patients after rehabilitation.
Methods: We enrolled 24 adult patients with GBS and evaluated their demographic characteristics, signs, complications, functional levels, and residual symptoms at admission, discharge, and during the 1st and 3rd-year follow-up visits.
Since April 2002, Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) and GRACE-FO (FollowOn) satellite gravimetry missions have provided precious data for monitoring mass variations within the hydrosphere, cryosphere, and oceans with unprecedented accuracy and resolution. However, the long-term products of mass variations prior to GRACE-era may allow for a better understanding of spatio-temporal changes in climate-induced geophysical phenomena, e.g.

Although, unlike radiography, ultrasonography (US) is not used routinely, studies show that US can be used in the diagnosis of fractures in pediatric patients.
Methods: In this single-center prospective observational study, patients under the age of 18 who presented to the emergency department after sustaining elbow trauma constituted the population of the study.
There is no study about all aspects of oropharyngoesophageal (OPE) dysphagia from diagnosis to follow-up in a multidisciplinary manner in the world. In order to close this gap, we aimed to create a recommendation study that can be used in clinical practice, addressing all aspects of dysphagia in the ICU in detail with the opinion of experienced multidisciplinary experts. This recommendation paper was generated by a multidisciplinary team, using the seven-step process and a three-modified Delphi round via e-mail.
