Retrospective analysis of venous thromboembolism, arterial thromboembolism, and microthrombosis incidence at a single center during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 has posed a significant threat to global health since its outbreak in early 2020. Various thrombotic complications have been reported in COVID-19 cases. This study aims to investigate the incidence of various types of thromboses during the COVID-19 pandemic, and explore the potential correlation between the number of COVID-19 infections and occurrence of thrombosis.
