Mechanism of LDH and IL-8 involved in pancreatic cancer pain and the correlation of pain degree.

Background: This research aimed to observe the mechanism of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and interleukin 8 (IL8) in pancreatic cancer pain and their correlation with pain degree.

Methods: 126 patients with pancreatic cancer who visited our hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into groups of 58 patients with low pain (1~3 points) and 68 patients with high pain (4~10 points) by visual analog scale (VAS).

Effect of gold-conjugated resveratrol nanoparticles on glioma cells and its underlying mechanism.

Background:  Glioblastoma is the most aggressive brain tumor with poor prognosis. Although Resveratrol (Rsv) is known to have therapeutic effects on glioma, the effects of gold-conjugated resveratrol nanoparticles (Rsv-AuNPs) on glioma cells are rarely reported.

Elevated serum MMP-1 associated with advanced disease stage and lymph node metastasis in patients with pancreatic carcinoma.

Pancreatic cancer is a malignancy with extremely poor prognosis. This study aimed to investigate the application value of tumour markers and matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) in predicting clinical staging and lymph node metastasis of pancreatic cancer. Totally, 130 pancreatic cancer patients and 40 healthy controls admitted to Haian Hospital Affiliated to Nantong University from January 2018 to January 2022 were collected.
