The reaction of PCl with diethyl ketazine and 4-phenylcyclohexanone azine results in the formation of 1,4-dichloro-3a,6a-diaza-1,4-diphosphapentalenes which were reduced by magnesium in THF to give corresponding diazadiphosphapentalenes EtMeDDP and PhcHexDDP, containing two-coordinate phosphorus atoms. According to the CVA data, the new diazadiphosphapentalenes are strong electron donors showing oxidation peak potentials at 0.34 and 0.

Background: Data on the species diversity and distribution of pteridophytes (lycophytes and ferns) in the Urals and adjacent areas are presented. The dataset includes 13,742 observations of two classes Lycopodiopsida and Polypodiopsida. In total, the dataset contains information on 16 families, 28 generas, 65 species, four subspecies and nine interspecies hybrids.

Treatment of 3a,6a-diaza-1,4-diphosphapentalene (DDP) with an excess of PhBCl2 yields the corresponding bis(borane) adduct DDP(PhBCl2)2 (14), demonstrating the availability of two lone pairs on the phosphorus center. The reaction between DDP and B(C6F5)3 yields (1 : 1) phosphino-borane complex 16. The free lone electron pair on the pyramidal P atom in 16 participates in the intramolecular non-covalent interactions P(1)F(1) and P(1)F(6) giving additional 3.

Herein, we present the synthesis, single-crystal X-ray structures, and spectroscopic properties for the 1:1 donor-acceptor complexes of 1,2,4,5-tetracyanobenzene (TCNB) with annelated 3a,6a-diaza-1,4-diphosphapentalenes (DDPs) based on cyclohexanone azine () and tetralone azine (). These are the first complexes of an organic π-acceptor with donor phosphorus heterocycles. According to the X-ray study, the DDPs and TCNB molecules are alternately stacked with interplanar distances of 3.

The interaction of azobenzene with lithium dicyclohexylamide (Cy2NLi) in THF or Et2O afforded the ion-radical salt of azobenzene (1) structurally characterized for the first time and dicyclohexylaminyl radical, which begins a novel chain of transformations leading eventually to the imino-enamido lithium complex (3). Benzalaniline, being a relative of azobenzene, reacted with Cy2NLi without electron transfer by a proton-abstraction mechanism to form the dilithium salt of N(1),N(2),1,2-tetraphenylethene-1,2-diamine quantitatively.

We studied clinical parameters and characteristics of the nonspecific brain activity, reflecting interhemispheric interactions, in patients with discirculatory encephalopathy (DEP) who had arterial hypertension. Forty-six patients with DEP (25 - with DEP, II stage, 21 - with DEP, III stage) without epileptic changes on EEG were examined. The control group included 44 healthy people.

Analyzing epidemiological data and the authors' own findings has revealed the specific features of tuberculosis manifestations in old-age children. In this connection, the authors recommend that the scheme of tuberculosis controlling measures should be changed in children depending on their age. A differential tuberculin diagnosis scheme and a fluorographic examination of children above 13 years are proposed.

The existence of a population of bank voles in the course of long time (50-60 years) in conditions of chronic ionizing radiation at low doses, promoted adaptation of this populations of rodents to the action of this factor. As opposed to, in a population of bank voles, living radionuclide-contaminated areas during 8-years after the Chernobyl accident, adaptation was not observed.

In the past 3 years, there has been an increasing trend of tuberculosis morbidity among adolescents in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Moreover, the pattern of clinical types has become worse, disseminated and complicated tuberculoses have been more frequently detected. There is a predominance of infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis occurring mainly in the intact lung with its asymptomatic onset and aptness to lung tissue decay and bacterial excretion.

The effects of intravenous nitroglycerin, isodinit, and monizid were compared in patients with myocardial infarction complicated by left ventricular failure. Central and peripheral hemodynamic parameters, coronary venous blood flow and precardial mapping data were analyzed. The drugs were found to be potent vasodilators in the treatment of these patients; the mechanism of their action was identical.

In tuberculosis dispensaries as centres for differential diagnosis of pulmonary diseases it is expedient to establish departments for diagnosis, treatment and dispensary observation of patients with sarcoidosis. This would provide verification of diagnoses with instrumental methods in 87.6 per cent of the cases and decrease of the average hospital stay for new cases of sarcoidosis and patients with relapses of the process by improving the examination and treatment procedures.
