The current study aimed to evaluate Y chromosome haplotypes obtained from 1353 unrelated Iranian males using the AmpFlSTRTM YfilerTM kit; 1353 out of the 1353 identified haplotypes were unique. The haplotype diversity (HD) and discriminating capacity (DC) values were 1.00000 and 0.

There is no genetic association study investigating this INDEL with any disease till now.

This quasi-experimental study was conducted during August 3rd-February 20th, 2016. We included 80 women whose fetuses were diagnosed with β-thalassemia major (β-TM) through chorionic villi sampling and were referred to the only prenatal diagnosis center at Ali-Asghar Hospital, Zahedan, Iran.

The ligand and its complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance measurements, FT-IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The resulting data from spectral investigation especially (1)H and (13)C NMR well confirmed formation of an imidazolidine ring in the ligand structure.

Background: β-thalassemia considers worldwide public health disorders. Novel fetal hemoglobin inducer agents such as thalidomide and sodium butyrate have been attended for ameliorating clinical complications of such disorders.
Material And Methods: We used thalidomide and sodium butyrate for increasing the level of fetal hemoglobin in erythroid progenitors.
In this work, synthesis of a new series of zinc halide/pseudohalide complexes of a bidentate Schiff base ligand entitled as bis (3-(4-dimethylaminophenyl)-allylidene)-1,2-diaminoethane(L) is described. The ligand and its zinc complexes were characterized by various techniques such as elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-visible, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra, cyclic voltammetry, and conductometry. Accordingly ZnLX2 (X=Cl(-), Br(-), I(-), SCN(-) and N3(-)) was suggested as molecular formula of the complexes.
