Indigenous Elders' voices on health-systems change informed by planetary health: a qualitative and relational systems mapping inquiry.

Indigenous Peoples and their knowledge systems are increasingly being looked to for solutions regarding climate change, including within clinical health-care settings. Indigenous Elders specifically are noted knowledge keepers within their communities and are often looked to with great respect for their Land-based knowledges as they pertain to planetary health approaches. We sought to explore the views of health-systems change informed by planetary health within the circumpolar north from the perspective of Indigenous Elders.

Health system learning with Indigenous communities: a study protocol for a two-eyed seeing review and multiple case study.

Background: It is well documented that Canadian healthcare does not fully meet the health needs of First Nations, Inuit or Métis peoples. In 1996, the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples concluded that Indigenous peoples' healthcare needs had to be met by strategies and systems that emerged from Indigenous worldviews and cultures. In 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission also called on health organizations to learn from Indigenous "knowledges" and integrate Indigenous worldviews alongside biomedicine and other western ways of knowing.

How prepared are UK medical graduates for practice? A rapid review of the literature 2009-2014.

Objective: To understand how prepared UK medical graduates are for practice and the effectiveness of workplace transition interventions.

Design: A rapid review of the literature (registration #CRD42013005305).

Data Sources: Nine major databases (and key websites) were searched in two timeframes (July-September 2013; updated May-June 2014): CINAHL, Embase, Educational Resources Information Centre, Health Management Information Consortium, MEDLINE, MEDLINE in Process, PsycINFO, Scopus and Web of Knowledge.
