Cisplatin (DDP), a platinum-chelated compound renowned for its antitumor activity, is often utilized in cancer therapy. However, its real-world clinical efficacy is compromised by poor solubility and low stability, which impedes wider clinical application. Our study aimed to address these limitations of DDP through host-guest supramolecular chemistry approaches.

Throughout the study, various parameters were meticulously evaluated, including serum levels of key reproductive hormones (testosterone (T), estradiol (E2), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH)), as well as monitoring alterations in the estrous cycle, follicle development, and ovulation rates. Additionally, markers of oxidative stress and inflammation were measured.

However, the mechanism by which biochar activated potassium ferrate remained unclear, necessitating further investigation. Cellulose biochar (CBC) and lignin biochar (LBC) derived by two model compounds which were the highest proportion of content in biomass were adopted to be study object, to investigate the removal efficiency of tetracycline (TC) by ferrate synergetic with CBC and LBC, respectively for the first time, and thoroughly analyzed the adsorption and degradation processes within the reaction system.

This study analyzed long-term trends in brucellosis incidence in China from 2006 to 2020, assessed the effects of age, period, and birth cohort, and projected future incidence up to 2030. Data on brucellosis were obtained from the Data-center of China Public Health Science, and temporal trends in incidence rates were analyzed using joinpoint regression, while an age-period-cohort model evaluated the effects of age, period, and cohort.

Posaconazole (PSZ), a second-generation triazole antifungal, exhibits broad-spectrum activity but suffers from limited pulmonary concentrations and notable systemic side effects when administered orally or intravenously. This study focuses on optimizing PSZ nanocrystals-agglomerated particles for dry powder inhalers (DPIs) to enhance solubility, dissolution rates, and pulmonary deposition, ultimately improving therapeutic efficacy while minimizing systemic adverse effects.

However, the design of large-aperture DAs that align seamlessly with image processing algorithms remains challenging. Existing sequential methods, which prioritize focusing efficiency in DAs before selecting an algorithm, may not achieve a satisfactory match due to an ambiguous relationship between efficiency and final imaging quality.

The rodent gut microbiota is a known reservoir of antimicrobial resistance, yet the distribution of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) within rodent cecal microbial communities and the specific bacterial species harboring these ARGs remain largely underexplored. This study employed high-throughput sequencing of 122 samples from five distinct rodent species to comprehensively profile the diversity and distribution of ARGs and to identify the bacterial hosts of these genes. A gene catalog of the rodent cecal microbiome was constructed, comprising 22,757,369 non-redundant genes.

This study investigates the influence of coil shape on the measurement performance of planar eddy current sensors and identifies an optimal coil shape to enhance sensing capabilities. To achieve this, various coil shapes-specifically circular, square, rectangular wave, and triangular wave-were designed and fabricated, featuring different numbers of turns for the experiment at room temperature.

However, the current research primarily focuses on enhancing the performance of eddy current sensors themselves, with few studies investigating the influence of turbine rotor parameters on the measurements taken by these sensors for dynamic blade tip clearance. Hence, this paper addresses this gap by using COMSOL Multiphysics 6.

The combustion conditions, notably temperature, significantly steers the migration and transformation of harmful metal components during combustion, and ultimately affect their retention and speciation in the ash residue. The study attempted to investigate the effect of co-combustion temperature on the enrichment and stability of Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd and Pb within bottom ashes, and to reveal the underlined promotion mechanism of red mud addition.

In this study, the effects of ammonium sulfate, calcium sulphate dihydrate, and manganese carbonate in EMR on sludge dewatering performance were investigated using the response surface optimization method. It was found that the optimized ratio of three components in EMR was 1.

A solution of cassava silk fibroin (CSF) was prepared with Ca(NO) as a solvent, which was then combined with chitosan (CS) to create a sponge-porous material by freeze-drying. The CSF-CS composite sponge with a mesh structure was successfully fabricated through hydrogen bonding.

This study used polylactic acid (PLA) and polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG-4000) to modify zero-valent iron nanoparticles (nZVI) and conducted characterization analysis. It was found that when the addition amount of PLA was 2 %, the dispersion of modified nZVI was better.
