Diabetic ulcers (DUs) present significant physical and psychological challenges to patients, while placing a significant economic burden on healthcare systems. Promoting the blood vessel regeneration is critical for ensuring the delivery of essential nutrients and oxygen to the injured area, thereby supporting the healing process. To gain insight into the complex molecular mechanisms that drive DUs healing, we performed a comprehensive analysis of single-cell transcriptomic data from healing and non-healing DU states.

Proinflammatory cell death is considered an important factor affecting neuroinflammation and the prognosis after injury. PANoptosis, a newly discovered type of proinflammatory cell death, regulates the activation of executioner molecules of apoptosis, pyroptosis and necroptosis through the PANoptosome, providing a new target for therapeutic intervention after SCI.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTwo-dimensional perovskite microplatelets have played an important role in various applications, especially acting as a template to guide grains' epitaxial growth in the preparation of textured ceramics. The (001) oriented SrLaTiO microplatelets with a high aspect ratio of ∼20 were synthesized and obtained from Aurivillius BiTiO precursors. To reveal the mechanism of topochemical microcrystal conversion of BiTiO to SrLaTiO, the reaction interface, morphology development, and phase composition evolution of the (001) oriented SrLaTiO microplatelets were investigated.

Purpose: Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that requires surgery in many cases. The aim of this article is to present the experience of a referral center regarding surgical interventions for CD, while also exploring the transformations that have occurred over 10 years.
Methods: The data of patients underwent abdominal surgery for CD between 2013 and 2022 were collected prospectively.
Due to its toxicity, the disinfection byproduct chlorite in drinking water is strictly regulated to be ≤ 1.0 mg/L, but in reclaimed, non-drinking water chlorite is unregulated and rarely considered. However, chlorite is cytotoxic and has a high oxidation potential.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFSpecification of floral organ identity is critical for floral morphology and inflorescence architecture. Floral organ identity in plants is controlled by floral homeotic A/B/C/D/E-class genes. Although multiple genes regulate floral organogenesis, our understanding of the regulatory network remains fragmentary.
