Efficient removal of anionic dye congo red by Chitosan/Poly (dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride-co-acrylamide) composite hydrogel.

Chitosan, as a natural and environmentally friendly material, has attracted significant attention in the field of water treatment. In this study, a Chitosan/poly (dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride-co-acrylamide) composite hydrogel (CPDA hydrogel) featuring a semi-interpenetrating network structure was synthesized via free radical copolymerization for the removal of the anionic dye Congo Red (CR) from wastewater. SEM-EDS, FTIR, XPS, TG, Zeta potential, and mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) were employed to analyze the physical and chemical changes in the hydrogel before and after adsorption.

Effects of 16 weeks of plyometric training on knee biomechanics during the landing phase in athletes.

This study investigated the effects of plyometric training on lower-limb muscle strength and knee biomechanical characteristics during the landing phase. Twenty-four male subjects were recruited for this study with a randomised controlled design. They were randomly divided into a plyometric training group and a traditional training group and underwent training for 16 weeks.

The effect of early weight-bearing and later weight-bearing rehabilitation interventions on outcomes after ankle fracture surgery: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials.

Objective: This systematic review aimed to analyse the effect of early weight bearing versus late weight bearing on rehabilitation outcomes after ankle fractures, which primarily include ankle function scores, time to return to work/daily life and complication rates.

Methods: The China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, China Science and Technology Journal, Web of Science, PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library databases were searched. The focus was on identifying randomised controlled trials centred on early weight-bearing interventions for post-operative ankle fracture rehabilitation.

Therapeutic Applications of Functional Nanomaterials for Prostatitis.

Prostatitis is a common disease in adult males, with characteristics of a poor treatment response and easy recurrence, which seriously affects the patient's quality of life. The prostate is located deep in the pelvic cavity, and thus a traditional infusion or other treatment methods are unable to easily act directly on the prostate, leading to poor therapeutic effects. Therefore, the development of new diagnostic and treatment strategies has become a research hotspot in the field of prostatitis treatment.
