To achieve resourceful utilization of dredged sludge, lightweight treatment was performed on sludge from Xunsi River in Wuhan using fly ash, cement, and expanded polystyrene (EPS) particles. Density tests and unconfined compressive strength (UCS) tests were conducted on the composite stabilized sludge lightweight soil to determine the optimal mix ratio for high-quality roadbed fill material with low self-weight and high strength. Subsequently, microstructural tests, including X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), were conducted.

The B-box proteins (BBXs) encode a family of zinc-finger transcription factors that regulate the plant circadian rhythm and early light morphogenesis. Background: Immune cell heterogenicity is known to determine the therapeutic response to cancer progression. Reintroduction programs seek to restore degraded populations and reverse biodiversity loss. To examine the hypothesis that gut symbionts could be used as an indicator of reintroduction success, we performed intensive metagenomic monitoring over 10 years to characterize the ecological succession and adaptive evolution of the gut symbionts of captive giant pandas reintroduced to the wild. We collected 63 fecal samples from 3 reintroduced individuals and 22 from 9 wild individuals and used 96 publicly available samples from another 3 captive individuals.

Doxorubicin (DOX), a broad-spectrum anti-tumor drug, has severe cardiotoxic side effects that limit its clinical application. Perillaldehyde (PAE) is the main component of volatile oil extracted from the stems and leaves of Herbaceous plant-perilla, which demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, hypolipidemic, and other health functions. The present study aimed to explore the protective effect of perillaldehyde on DOX-induced cardiotoxicity in rats and to confirm its possible mechanism.

Objective: To investigate whether TCF7 T cells constitute an important factor to improve the existing postoperative prediction model for patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Method: TCF7 T cells were detected in the tissues of 167 OSCC patients by multiplex immunofluorescence. The percentage of TCF7 T cells was transformed into a dichotomous variable, combined with the clinicopathological data for the OSCC patients, and then subjected to univariate and multivariate analyses.
