- A study looked at CBD rates in 189 countries and how these relate to a measure called the Human Development Index (HDI), which reflects how developed a country is.
- The results showed that as countries become more developed (higher HDI), the rates of both new cases and deaths from CBD tend to go down, suggesting that better access to healthcare may help reduce these issues.
