Burden and Predictors of Depression in Populations With Coronary Heart Disease.

Introduction: Depression significantly impacts the quality of life and medical care in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). This study assesses the burden of depression in adults aged 40 years and above with CHD and evaluates predictors of depression in this population. It has been reported that approximately 17-44% of persons with CHD have a major depression diagnosis and that nearly 27% of individuals undergoing coronary artery bypass graft operation suffer depression following the procedure.

Analyzing Trends in Mental and Behavioral Health Support for Children: A Comprehensive Study Using National Survey of Children's Health Database.

Objective This study aimed to explore mental and behavioral health support trends for children aged 3-17, analyzing treatment and counseling using United States data from the 2016-2020 National Survey of Children's Health (NSCH) database. Methods Employing a retrospective observational design, we systematically retrieved and analyzed NSCH Database data from 2016 to 2020. The focus was on understanding mental and behavioral health treatment percentages over time, specifically targeting demographic variations such as age groups, gender, race/ethnicity, and the federal poverty level percentage.
