Background: Dedicated prospective studies investigating high-definition intravascular ultrasound (HD-IVUS)-guided primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) are lacking. The aim of this study was to qualify and quantify culprit lesion plaque characteristics and thrombus using HD-IVUS in patients presenting with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).
Methods: The SPECTRUM study is a prospective, single-center, observational cohort study investigating the impact of HD-IVUS-guided primary PCI in 200 STEMI patients (NCT05007535).
Real-time database searching allows for simpler and automated proteomics workflows as it eliminates technical bottlenecks in high-throughput experiments. Most importantly, it enables results-dependent acquisition (RDA), where search results can be used to guide data acquisition during acquisition. Using multicenter registry data, our aim was to calculate the death-adjusted annual incidence of malignancies post-HTx, corroborate the association between CKD pre-HTx and malignancy risk post-HTx, and determine other risk factors for post-HTx malignancies.
Methods And Materials: We used data from patients transplanted in North American HTx centers between January 2000 and June 2017 and registered in the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Thoracic Organ Transplant Registry.
We hypothesize that a novel tailor-made cardiac rehabilitation (CR) program for obesity patients (OPTICARE XL) has better outcomes as compared to usual CR regarding parameters of cardiac function as measured by conventional and advanced transthoracic echocardiography. This is an open-label, randomized controlled trial.
