The introduction of a magnetic field has great potential for enhancing oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance, but it requires the catalyst to be ferromagnetic and there is a lack of understanding of the fundamental mechanisms. Herein, we achieved the transformation of non-ferromagnetic α-FeO into ferromagnetic CoFeO by Co doping. Compared to α-FeO, the OER activity of CoFeO considerably increased under a magnetic field of 3000 Oe and is proportional to the magnetic field strength within a certain range.

Objectives: To observe the role of miR-139-5p and Notch1 signaling pathway in regulation of homing of bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) of asthmatic rats.
Methods: Normal rat BMSCs were co-cultured with bronchial epithelial cells from normal or asthmatic rats, followed by transfection with miR-139-5p mimics or a negative control sequence. The changes in cell viability and cell cycle were analyzed, and the cellular expressions of CXCR4 and SDF-1 were detected using immunofluorescence staining.

Objective To explore the effect of serum from Xinfeng Capsule(XFC)-treated rats on the proliferation and apoptosis of fibroblast-like synoviocytes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA-FLS) by regulating the circular RNA Cbl oncogene B (circ-CBLB). Methods XFC was administered orally to rats to prepare drug-containing serum. Human RA-FLS were stimulated with 100 μL of 10 ng/mL tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) to establish the model.

However, directly extracting constituent information from the NIR spectra is challenging due to many issues such as broad absorption band, overlapping and non-specific nature. To solve these problems and extract implicit features from the raw data of NIR spectra to improve performance of quantitative models, a one-dimensional shallow convolutional neural network (CNN) model based on an eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) feature extraction method was proposed in this paper.

Through epigenetic reprogramming, the inflammatory state of macrophages can be modified. Macrophage polarization is associated with the RNA epigenetic alteration N6-methyladenosine (m6A) RNA methylation.

To improve prediction performance and reduce artifacts in Raman spectra, we developed an eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) preprocessing method to preprocess the Raman spectra of glucose, glycerol and ethanol mixtures. To ensure the robustness and reliability of the XGBoost preprocessing method, an X-LR model (which combined XGBoost preprocessing and a linear regression (LR) model) and a X-MLP model (which combined XGBoost preprocessing and a multilayer perceptron (MLP) model) were developed. These two models were used to quantitatively analyze the concentrations of glucose, glycerol and ethanol in the Raman spectra of mixed solutions.

The traditional Chinese medicine Xinfeng capsule (XFC) has a remarkable alleviating effect on inflammatory symptoms, such as joint pain and swelling, in patients with RA. However, the underlying mechanism of action remains to be elucidated.

China has committed to achieve net carbon neutrality by 2060 to combat global climate change, which will require unprecedented deployment of negative emissions technologies, renewable energies (RE), and complementary infrastructure. At terawatt-scale deployment, land use limitations interact with operational and economic features of power systems. To address this, we developed a spatially resolved resource assessment and power systems planning optimization that models a full year of power system operations, sub-provincial RE siting criteria, and transmission connections.

Methods: We used individual-level linked data of iGAS cases from Victoria, Australia (2007-2017) to assess associations between these viral infections and iGAS. A self-controlled case series method was used to estimate the relative incidence of iGAS following an influenza or varicella infection, while the relative incidence of iGAS among HCV cases, and HCV cases who inject drugs, was estimated using population-level data and a negative binomial regression model.
A high sensitivity and ultra-low concentration range photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) gas detection system, which was based on a novel trapezoid compound ellipsoid resonant photoacoustic cell (TCER-PAC) and partial least square (PLS), was proposed to detect acetylene (CH) gas. In the concentration range of 0.5 ppm ∼ 10.

Objective To explore the regulatory axis of circular RNA Cbl proto-oncogene B (circCBLB)/miR-486-5p on the proliferation, apoptosis, and inflammatory cytokines of fibroblast-like synoviocytes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA-FLS). Methods Human RA-FLS were stimulated with 100 μL of 10 ng/mL of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) to establish the model. The binding relationship of circCBLB/miR-486-5p was validated by a dual-luciferase reporter gene assay.

Objective To screen key genes and signaling pathways in macrophages from patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA) by bioinformatics. Methods Download the gene chip of synovial macrophages of RA patients from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, obtain differentially expressed genes through the GEO2R function, and use the search tool for the retrival of interacting genes/proteins (STRING) database to construct a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network. Enrichment analysis was performed on key genes in Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Gene and Genomics (KEGG).

Most of these individuals plot well on an ontogenetic series based on the proportions of limb elements, but this has lacked histological evidence until now. Here, a new wing skeleton of Sinopterus was thin-sectioned to provide the first histological data about the ontogeny of the Jehol tapejarids.
