Influence of Microstructure on Dynamic Mechanical Behavior and Damage Evolution of Frozen-Thawed Sandstone Using Computed Tomography.

Frost-induced microstructure degradation of rocks is one of the main reasons for the changes in their dynamic mechanical behavior in cold environments. To this end, computed tomography (CT) was performed to quantify the changes in the microstructure of yellow sandstone after freeze-thaw (F-T) action. On this basis, the influence of the microscopic parameters on the dynamic mechanical behavior was studied.
